I am a trained person centred, therapeutic counsellor. I am accredited by the BACP and a member of the British Psychological Society. I offer individual counselling sessions. The sessions create a safe space for you and are catered to your individual needs and requirements.
I graduated in 2004 with a 2:1 degree BSc(hons) Applied Psychology. I have always possessed a strong desire to help people on an emotional level and completed a certificate in Psychotherapy skills at Manchester University in 2006. I then began to volunteer with the Samaritans for several years completed Level 2 in Therapeutic Counselling. This led straight into me studying for and completing my Level 4 in Therapeutic Counselling. I then joined CRUSE Bereavement Cumbria as a volunteer and supported clients across Cumbria for a number of years. I am a member of the BPS (British Psychological Society) and am accredited by the BACP (British Association for Counsellors and Psychotherapists). In addition to my work in voluntary organisations I have also had the privilege of being able to offer my services to young people in school through working for both Barnardos amd A.C.E. Throughout my career to date, I have supported many individuals of various ages with different issues. |
