In response to the Covid-19 pandemic, and as part of my absolute commitment to the health, safety and wellbeing of my clients, you may wish to consider alternative methods of counselling before booking a standard indoor session. I also offer phone, video call and outdoor counselling options, and you can get in touch to discuss and book one of these options. However, I understand that for some clients indoor counselling is the preferred method of counselling, and the therapy room I use is big enough for 2 meter social distancing, ventilated and a face covering must also be worn on arrival and leaving. (More info from BACP).
Although these measures lower risk of spreading Covid-19, they do not eliminate risk of infection altogether.
Therefore, to work indoors with me, you must not be classified, or live with anyone classified, as belonging to any of the Covid-19 high risk groups (more detail can be found on the government website): • Must not have a long-term health condition • Must not be pregnant • Must not have immune deficiencies through medical conditions or therapy • Must not be aged over 70 Anyone having any symptoms of Covid-19 must not enter the therapy room. We can work online whilst you are self-isolating if you wish.
